How to determine version of embedded mySQL database in Foglight/FVE -
Resolution
You can always review the database version in a xxxx_001.log by searching for string "mysqld:Version". Everytime FMS is is restarted, it creates xxxxx_0001.log which is the startup log.
For example, the embedded MySQL in a Foglight 5.7.1/FVE 8.0 is shown as follows by the mysqld executable log entry:
mysqld:Version: '5.6.18-enterprise-commercial-advanced'
whereas Foglight 5.6.11/FVE 7.2 log indicates:
mysqld:Version: '5.1.45-enterprise-commercial-pro'
