Toad Data Point 3.3 missing "Send to Report" button -
Description
After running a query, there used to be a "Send to Report" button at the bottom of the Data Grid in v3.2. What happen to that in v3.3? -
Resolution
The "Send to Report" button is replaced to open up the Automation Tutorial because many Toad users want to use Automation but don’t know how to get started. The purpose of the "Send to Report" button was really about building an automation script but did not do more than a “Select to File” type script.
The Send to Report button used to open up Excel within Toad. A similar workflow would be to do a right-click on the Data Grid and choose Quick Export | Excel Instance| Excel Instance. This will open up an Excel instance outside of Toad.
