Error during tuning / optimization of SQL query statement:
"The necessary SQL Tuning files are not available. Please reinstall this application." or
"Some SQL tuning files are not available. Please install or reinstall SQL Tuning application
Cause

SQL Optimizer for SQL Server is not installed.
Resolution

Quest SQL Optimizer for SQL Server is a separate application that must be installed. Rerun the Toad for SQL Server installation file and check-mark SQL Optimizer.
