Specified resource type cannot be found in image file
Error Message:
The following error occurs in the SQL Comparer module. It happens on complicated SQL statements that have several (possibly 100 or more) alternatives.
Specified resource type cannot be found in image file.
This message is either followed up with other cryptic error messages or continuous repeating of the above-mentioned message.
This problem is related to the lack of memory in Windows. It may be resolved by closing unused applications and by increasing the Windows Virtual memory setting.
Below are the instructions for setting the Virtual Memory under all the Windows operating systems.
Windows 2000
From the Windows taskbar, click the Start button.
From the Start menu, select Settings.
From the Settings menu, select Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, double-click on System.
In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.
Click on the Performance Options tab.
In the Performance Options window, click on the Change button.
In the Virtual Memory Window, change the Initial size setting.
Click the Set button.
Click OK to close Virtual Memory window.
Click OK to close Performance Options window.
Click OK to close System Properties window.
Windows XP
From the Windows taskbar, click the Start button.
From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, double-click on System.
In the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab.
In the Performance section, click on the Settings button.
In the Performance Options window, click the Advanced tab
In the Virtual memory section, click on the Change button.
In the Virtual Memory window, change the Initial size setting.
Click the Set button.
Click OK to close Virtual Memory window.
Click OK to close Performance Options window.
Click OK to close System Properties window.
Window 95/98
From the Windows taskbar, click the Start button.
From the Start menu, select Settings.
From the Settings menu, select Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, double-click on System.
In the System Properties window, click on the Performance tab.
Click on the Virtual Memory button.
In the Virtual Memory window, select the Let Windows manage my virtual memory setting.
Click OK to close Virtual Memory window.
Click OK to close System Properties window.
Windows NT
From the Windows taskbar, click the Start button.
From the Start menu, select Settings.
From the Settings menu, select Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, double-click on System.
In the System Properties window, click on the Performance tab.
Click on the Change button.
In the Virtual Memory window, change the Initial size setting.
Click the Set button.
