Getting Access Violation with LDAP connection when running queries or accessing tables from the S
Description

I am connected via LDAP in Toad but in the Editor, when I attempted to run queries I get

"Access violation at address 0040D368 in module 'toad.exe'. Read of address 08000004".

Accessing tables in the Schema Browser, also gave

"Access violation at address 006035D5 in module 'toad.exe'. Read of address 00000110".
Cause

Oracle client is too old.
Resolution

Please upgrade your Oracle client to at least a 9i.
