SQL Scanner error: 'Failed to connect "QCSS_SQLScanner.qc" to database.' -
Description
When I run SQL Scanner, I get the following error:
'Failed to connect "QCSS_SQLScanner.qc" to database.'
When I click OK on the error box, I can still proceed but what is causing this error? -
Cause
1. The database's meta data is too big
2. The connection between database and the Software is relatively slow -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
You should still be able to proceed with the scanning despite the error.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of SQL Optimizer for SQL Server. -
