When trying to delete a queue in qview, the following error is observed:
$ qview -i
qview> qsetup
qview> deleteq p
p invalid queue name
The queue that the user is trying to delete may not exist at the time the deleteq command is issued.
When querying qview for the type of queues that exist in this Shareplex instance, there is no queue found to exit of the type which the user is trying to delete. The following illustrates the point:
$ qview -i
qview> qsetup
qview> deleteq p
p invalid queue name
qview> list
The following queues exist:
qview>
It could be that the said queue was already deleted in an earlier qview session. Or perhaps it was not yet spawned. So there is nothing else that needs to be done on the part of the user if the sole intent was to get rid of the said queue, since the queue does not exist at present. Contact Support if there are any further questions on this.
