RUM Controller crashes when moving computers (4280645)

The RUM controller service may crash and generate .MDMP files when attempting to move computers to the target domain.

This may occur if the following conditions are true:

1. The "Perform the task remotely (without agents)" option is UN-checked

AND

2. The "Change last logged-in domain to the target domain" option is checked

To resolve the issue please go to SOL77417 and download and install the latest cumulative RUM hotfix, the Migration Manager for AD 8.8 Hotfix (Update_20120306) for solution SOL77417. (**Contains 20111118, 20111019, and 20110928**)

Alternatively the following steps can be tried in order to resolve:

To work around this issue, either:

1. Check the "Perform the task remotely (without agents)" option

OR

2. Un-check the "Change last logged-in domain to the target domain" option
