After creating the customer counter, click on the OK button to save the customer counter and click on the OK button again to commit the change. Then go back to "Configure | Customer Counter" again and look for the custom counter just created and click on "Edit Alarm Threshold." This time created customer counter should show up when create a new severity. Enhancement considered to make it unnecessary to click on two OK buttons before proceeding to "Edit Alarm Threshold."
