Error received the first time that Knowledge Xpert is ran:
"The Instant Message Index file, C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Knowledge Xpert\KXMsgs.ini , is corrupted, please contact support."
File name DB2 v8.rvx is incorrect.
1. Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Knowledge Xpert\Instant Messages\DB2".
2. Rename the "DB2 v8 rvx" file to "DB2 V8 UDB Messages.rvx".
3. Update the "KXmsgs.ini", "KXpertClientTemplate.ini" and KXpertClient.ini files in the "C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\Quest Software\Knowledge Xpert" directory with the changes to the .rvx file.
