FGLAM agent log states Server buffers are full and data cannot be accepted.
Description

Foglight database dashboard is not collecting data from a SQL Server instance.

The Agent log states:
Win32_OperatingSystem' has failed (0x80041045)

Description: Server buffers are full and data cannot be accepted
Cause

WMI connection problem between the FGLAM agent to the OS Host.
Resolution
By default Foglight agent will use WMI to get the OS metrics. The FGLAM agent uses the WMI technology to get data from the OS.
The WMI is failing from the FGLAM agent host to the OS.
1. The connection and login can be tested by using Microsoft's WBEMTEST application from the Agent Manager (this is from the PC where the FGLAM agent is located to the monitored host:
2. Run the program WBEMTEST from the Windows Run field.
3. Click the connect button
4. Enter the server name in the namespace followed by root\cimv2, in this example it might be \\alpha.test.com\root\cimv2
5. Enter the username and password.
6. Click the connect button again.
If there is an error based on the WMI, the recommendation is to restart WMI or restart the Host to clear the buffer.
