NOTE: Typically when changing the Scriptlogic Service credentials in the SERVER MANAGER you will also need to change the credentials for the “Desktop Authority Opsmaster Service”, under the “Windows Services” console, which generally has the SAME “Domain Admin” service account listed.
Follow the steps below to update these accounts once they have been changed in Active Directory:
From the Server Manager applet in the Desktop Authority management console: Right click on the word “Started” under the ScriptLogic service column and select “Configure”. Re-enter the new password in the fields provided. When prompted to restart the service, select “Yes”.
If MULTIPLE Scriptlogic Services need to be updated, click on the “Scriptlogic Service” column heading, which will highlight all servers that have the ScriptLogic Service installed. Then right-click over any of the blue/highlighted areas where it states “Started”, and select “Configure”.
Changing the passwords under these conditions will update ALL of the Scriptlogic Service account s and passwords that were highlighted, at once.
Once the service have restarted, click on the “File” drop down from the menu pad above and select the option to “Save changes”. Once the changes have been saved, click on the “File” drop down from the menu pad above and select the option to “Replicate Files”.
