Invoking Auto Optimize SQL displays error Invalid Connection Profile -
Description
When invoking "Auto Optimize SQL" or "Advanced SQL Optimization" from the Toad Editor or Session Browser, the following error "Invalid Connection Profile" is displayed.
User enters SQL in the Editor and went to Database->Optimize-> Auto Optimize SQL.Or
User enters SQL in Editor then went to Database->Optimize-> Advanced SQL Optimization and get the below error:
“Invalid Connection Profile”

Cause
Connection type : host-port- Service_Name -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Configure the connection using "Service Name" instead of "SID".
For example: host-port-Service_Name instead of host-port-SID STATUS:

Waiting for fix in a future version of SQL Optimizer for Oracle. -

Additional Information
Version selector displays one version of optimizer and it is disabled (grayed out).
