Large CLOB fields can be exported to Excel, however, Excel file cannot be opened.
Description

When user exports to Excel format with a very large CLOB object (for example, 8MB), the export process will complete but MS Office Excel cannot open the file.
Cause

This is a problem with Microsoft Office Excel.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
None

STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future version of SQL Navigator for Oracle.
