mysql-bin.xxxx files fills up the MYSQL directory -
Description
An external MySQL database is being used with a Foglight installation on the same Linux host.
The partion used for the MySQL data base is filled with mysql-bin.xxx files.
Why is Foglight causing this issue with the database? -
Resolution
RESOLUTION:
The files are not caused by Fogight, the mysql-bin.xxxx files are a feature of the external MySQL database.If the file systems fills up, and this option is not disabled in the my.cnf file, the files have to be purged to gain space back.
