Import Table Data error: "Invalid Pointer Operation" and Access Violation or "Catastrophic failure".
Description

Selecting Import Table Data gets an Invalid Pointer Operation and Access Violation error when first launching and during the wizard. Unable to complete the import.

This is an issue regardless of import type and other settings.
Cause

Possible corruption or conflict with settings saved from previous imports stored in the ToadActions.dat file.
Resolution

RESOLUTION 1
1. With Toad for Oracle closed, fully exit Toad
2. Rename the files ToadActions.dat and ToadActions.log file found in User Files folder for Toad.
Toad for Oracle's User Files folder is found in the Application Data directory as seen below.
In Win 7:
C:\Users\<personal_folder>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\<version>\User Files
i.e.: C:\Users\dtorres\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\11.6\User Files
3. Launch Toad and determine if the problem persists.
RESOLUTION 2
1. With Toad for Oracle closed, fully exit Toad .
2. Rename the 'User Files' folder mentioned in the path in RESOLUTION 1.
3. Launch Toad and determine if the problem persists.
