How to import to Local Storage directly from other database systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)? (4274816)

 Is it possible to import to Local Storage directly from other database systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)?

It is possible to use the automation feature to create a direct import from your database system to your Local Storage, but you will need to have created a database and the corresponding tables in the Local Storage prior to working with automation.

1. Connect to the Local Storage and connect to your database

2. In the Navigation Manger, make sure you highlight the Local Storage

3. Click on the Automate icon

4. Drag an drop the Import Wizard from the Database Activity box

5. The "Use Automation Connection" should be Local Storage

6. In the "Import Template" filed click on the Build Template icon to run through the import wizard
