SQL Server Reporting Services: The metadata of the reporting services is stored in the SQL Server instance. Foglight for SQL Server offers the capability of analyzing the metadata and produces detailed reports of the user's activity. Depending on which time period user selected in Foglight for SQL Server UI, if a report was run in this time period, the Reporting Services UI (Reporting Services Execution Summary) would show additional details about the Report(s) that were run.
Adjust the time to 4 hours or different time period, maybe the Reporting Services SQL Server, no user ran any reports in this time frame and hence no data to display in Foglight Reporting Services UI.
If the user selects 8 hours and there is data collected and Reports details - Report Name, Status & path where the report resides.
If user clicks on "Explore", it will open up a new panel showing additional details of the report and here the user can see the Report Execution Start time & End time. This will presume that the Reports seen in the 8 hours window ran some time in the last 4 hours (12:34 to 4:34 PM for example) and not in the last hour (3:33 to 4:33 PM)
The user can validate this by checking the Report execution time and most likely, it would be in the time period between 12:34 and 3:33 PM, 9th May for example.
