How to restore the default Benchmark Factory for Databases (BMF) 5.5 console layout (4273043)

I accidently messed up the layout of my BMF screen.

I can't figure out how to get it back to the default layout to uninstall/reinstall it.

When I uninstalled BMF and then reinstalled it the GUI looks the same (all messed up).

How can I fix this?

Those settings are stored in the Registry in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Quest Software\Benchmark Factory for Databases]

To reset the settings to the default, try the following steps [Note: always backup registry prior to making registry changes]

1. Exit  the BMF application

2. Delete [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Quest Software\Benchmark Factory for Databases]  from the registry

3.  Launch the  Benchmark Factory console

The Registry settings will automatically be recreated.

Note: Please be careful when editing the registry; always backup registry prior to making registry changes. Changing the wrong thing can be very damaging to the operating system or other software products.
