TDA will hang intermittently when being to connected to an Oracle database and a DB2 connection and coming back into TDA. It can be invoked by the key strokes, ALT+TAB.
Example:
User opens up a SQL file with queries within TDA and OUTSIDE of TDA.
User executes query in TDA editor.
User makes editing alteration of SQL OUTSIDE of TDA.
TDA prompts with FILE MODIFIED window.
<Path_of_File> of open file has been modified by another application.
Do you want to reload file? <Yes> No
When using ALT+TAB to get back to TDA, TDA will hang.
Oracle Client-Database version mismatch
Confirm that the Oracle client is at least the same version with the database that is being connected. If this is not the case, upgrade the Oracle client. The client version information can be seen in the Support Bundle while connected to the database via Help | Support Bundle menu option.
