When launching Quest Central for DB2 the following error may appear:
"Quest Central for DB2 has encountered a problem and needs to close."
Followed by another error:
"Error signature on AppName: questcentral.exe and ModName: kernel32.dll."
Followed by another error:
"Exception EoleSysError in module Vcl50.bpl at 0001A321.Error accessing the OLE registry."
User did not have the proper privileges on the machine, certain Quest Central for DB2 files were not registered in Windows thus causing the exception.
Please log in as the administrator of the machine.
Once you launch Quest Central for DB2 with the admin user, the files will be registered properly in Windows and resolve the exception.
