Some common examples are listed below but it is recommended to simply attempt the same action manually, in the same user context, in order to verify that the results are the same.
Drive Mapping object example: If return code 5 is received when attempting to add a drive mapping, then this message indicates that the share cannot be accessed by the user. Check the share level and NTFS permissions on the share and ensure that the user can access that same share by clicking on Start | Run and typing the share name and hitting enter.
Firewall object example: If a command is issued to add or open ports 137,138,139 and 445, an “Access is denied” message would be expected. These ports are predefined by the OS for file and print sharing and cannot be modified.
INI Files object example: The Filespec field may not contain a path or filename of the .ini file to be modified.
