Setting Security Explorer into Debug Mode (4266791)

Errors that are produced within Security Explorer are sometimes very vague so further information is required to assist with troubleshooting.

Errors that are produced are very vague and do not provide enough information.

You need to enable debug mode within the software to allow greater amounts of information to be generated.

1. Locate the startup icon from the Windows GUI. Right Click and go to Properties
2. Add in /d to the end of the string in the Target field and click apply.
3. Open Security Explorer from this startup icon
4. Go to the Tools menu and click Options
5. At the bottom of the general tab select a log location
6. Click the "Show detailed error messages' checkbox
7. Click the 'Log path names for all security operations (debug)" checkbox
