Moving a computer fails with error 0x35 -
Description
Trying to move a computer from source to target domain fails with error 0x35:
\Windows\Debug\NetSetup.log file on the workstation being moved contains an error similar to the following:
03/29 16:11:44 NetpDsGetDcName: found DC '\\LONDC1' in the specified domain
03/29 16:11:49 NetUseAdd to \\LONDC1\IPC$ returned 53
03/29 16:11:49 NetpJoinDomain: status of connecting to dc '\\LONDC1': 0x35 -
Cause
The DC mentioned in the log file fails to resolve by short NetBIOS name.

Resolution
Please make sure the DC can be resolved, for example add A host records in source DNS for this DC.
