How does Groupwise Migrator for Exchange (GME) provision Distribution group?
During the directory export, a GroupsToProvision.txt file is created. This file has the Distribution List name and information, followed by all of the members of that distribution list.
When provisioning distribution lists, GME make two passes. During the first pass, all the distribution lists is created. During the second pass, GME adds all the members.
GME uses the targetAddress value to try and find the members in Active Directory and add them to the list. If GME cannot find the member in Active Directory, GME can optionally create a contact for those users.
