After a new mailbox is manually created in either source or target environment, in order for the tool to see the mailbox it has to be added to its database. This can be done by either right-clicking the relevant server and selecting Add recipients to database, or by refreshing the server by right-clicking it and selecting Refresh. However, in some situations the refresh option does not achieve the expected result.
By default when an organization is added to the project the option Add Exchange topology only is selected. This is because in large organizations the full enumeration of the Exchange organization will take a considerable amount of time to complete.
Either continue to add mailboxes to the database using the method described in the Problem Description, or if the extra time taken to enumerate the full Exchange organization is acceptable then the following procedure can be followed:
- right-click either Source Exchange 200x Organizations or Target Exchange 200x Organizations in the left hand pane (as applicable)
- select Add Source Organization or Add Target Organization (as applicable)
- un-check the option Add Exchange topology only and complete the wizard
It is not necessary to remove the organization from the project first.
