Database agent connection timeout: "No credentials were provided to establish a connection..." (4261608)

A misleading credential alarms is being raised from time to time: "No credentials were provided to establish a connection..."

Credential resource mapping is OK, assignment to Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) is correct and the query credential returns the correct credential.

Before the alarm appears the FglAM was restarted.

Connection timeout of the database agent is a bit too low - this warning can be found the agent log file:

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.SSS WARN    [MyAgent-highPriorityPool-1] com.quest.glue.core.remoteconnection.CredentialQueryResult - The credential query timeout value of 45,000 MILLISECONDS set by agent DB_Oracle/5.7.5.35/DB_Oracle/MyAgent is less than the max operational timeout of 51,000 MILLISECONDS. This query may timeout before results are returned.

Increase the connection timeout of the database agent:

1. Open the "Agent Status" dashboard
2. Select the problematic agent
3. Click on "Edit Properties"
4. Click on "Modify the private properties for this agent"
5. Find the parameter "Connection Timeout (milliseconds)
6. Change the parameter to a higher value according to the warning in the log file. In the example above 60,000 might be appropriated, but it can be increased up to 145,000.
7. Save the changes
8. Restart the agent
