An Agent Manager is not showing up in the Wizard used to deploy Infrastructure agents. -
Description
A Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) is not showing up as a selection in the "Add Monitored Host" page of the Wizard used to deploy IC (Infrastructure Cartridge) agents.The HostAgents.gar file was deployed to the FglAM previously, and there are Infrastructure cartridge agents running from the FglAM. Why isn't the FglAM listed? -
Cause
If a newer version of the Infrastructure cartridge was installed and enabled on the Foglight Management Server but the newer Infrastructure package (HostAgent.gar) was not deployed to the FglAM this may happen. -
Resolution
Deploy the latest Infrastructure cartridge package to the FglAM.The package can be deployed from the Agent Hosts page (Administration | Agents | Agent Hosts) or from the Agent Status page (Administration | Agents | Agent Status).To deploy the Infrastructure cartridge package from the Agent Hosts page to the FglAM:1). Navigate to the Agent Hosts page (Administration | Agents | Agent Hosts).2). Highlight the FglAM3). Click the "Deploy Agent Package" button.4). Select "HostAgents.gar" in the Package field.5). Click the "Deploy" button.
