Description
The following error occurs during installation:
"Could not find the a part of the path: C:\Program Files\IBM\ SQLLIB\BIN\netf20\specific."
or
"The following error was encountered attempting to establish the DB2
environment - Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN\netf40'.."or
"The following error was encountered attempting to establish the DB2
environment - Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN\netf40'.." -
Resolution
For Toad for DB2 4.6:
Upgrade to Toad for DB2 4.7.
For Toad for DB2 6.0:
Ensure to install an IBM DB2 client software as Toad for DB2 6.0 no longer comes with a DB2 client.
In addition, confirm that one is using the proper Fix Pack for Toad for DB2 6.0.
Using a Fix Pack 3 instead of 6 will generate this message. -
