CPUU does not update a mailbox profile. The following message is shown in CPUU log file:
Core [Trace] Looking for the switch message.
Core [Info] Switch message was not found.
[Info] Summary: 1 profile(s) were processed.
[Info] Profile [Profile_name]: Profile is not processed.
Mailbox was not switched or no switch messages has been generated for CPUU while switching mailbox with Project Manager.
When a mailbox is switched by either Migration Manager Mail Source Agent or the Project Manager, the so-called switch message, that is, a hidden message, is generated and put to the Associated contents of the Inbox folder of the source Exchange mailbox. When viewing the Associated contents of the Inbox folder with MFCMAPI.exe utility or any other utility allowing to view the MAPI properties, you should be able to see a hidden message with the Subject looking like a GUID.
Here a few sample message attributes that can help to identify the switch message:
PR_NORMALIZED_SUBJECT:
{0E85BD11-6D96-48dd-B20A-DF8108F272D7}
PR_BODY:
[EMW 4.0]
TargetServer=TARGET-EX10
TargetMailboxDN=/o=Target Org/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=test
MbMatchKeyTag=X500
PFMatchKeyTag=X500
If there is no hidden message in the associated contents, that means the mailbox was not switched or that no switch message was generated for CPUU.
To resolve the problem, switch a mailbox by either allowing the Mail Source Agent to switch it within the mailbox collection or switch mailbox using the Project Manager.
To allow the Mail Source Agent to switch mailbox:

If you wish to preserve the OST files for the mailboxes in this collection, select the option to Switch mailbox and preserve offline folder (OST) files.
3. Click OK in the collection Properties.
4. Commit changes for the mailbox synchronization job.

1. Click the All Mailboxes collection in the the Project Manager.
2. Right-click the mailbox that you want to switch in the right pane of the the Project Manager and select Switch Mailboxes command from the shortcut menu.
