Creating Ad Hoc Reports using a thrid party reporting tool (4258097)

Is it Possible to creat Ad Hoc reports from the MessageStats Database using a third party reporting tool?

Although the MessageStats data resides in a SQL database, and querying this data from another tool is possible, direct Queries of the SQL data is not supported by Quest Software. To create ad hoc reports it is recommended that customers use the MessageStats Reporting Console's Custom reports feature.
