Are there plans to make the NetMonitor device list searchable and make exporting the list easier? -
Description
Are there any plans to add the ability to search the list of devices used by the NetMonitor agent? We have several NetMonitor agents running and it is hard to find the associated host on the list when a piece of equipment gets decommissioned.Also, are there plans to make exporting and importing the Netmonitor lists easier? -
Resolution
RESOLUTION:The new NetMonitor agent, available with the V5.7 Infrastructure Utilities cartridge, provides the following features from the Devices Management dashboard (Infrastructure NetMonitor | Devices Management):- The devices can be searched for from the "Devices Management" dashboard. Devices can also be listed in alphabetical order by clicking on the Device Name column under the "Devices Management" dashboard.- The device names can be exported from the "Devices Management" dashboard in csv, Excel, XML, and PDF format using the customizer. The customizer Icon is in the upper right-hand corner of the page to the right of the "Search" field.- When adding devices from the "Devices Management" dashboard you can paste in a list of devices (one device per line) in the "Add Device(s)" page. The "Add Devices" page is accessed by clicking the green Add icon on the "Devices Management" dashboard.
