Added a domain in the Domain Auditing tab. This domain is also in the Internal Namespaces list.
Running a report on this domain (Internet | Internet Domain Auditing report) produces no results.
The domain is a secondary proxy address for all mailboxes in the organization.
This is due to the fact that Exchange only logs the primary SMTP address for a given mailbox in the Exchange Tracking log. It does so at the point it makes the determination (which is at the incoming edge server). Because of this, it makes it difficult to report on this by MessageStats.
STATUS
This is due to a limitation in the way Exchange resolves secondary addresses to the mailbox and therefore in the Message Tracking Logs only the primary SMTP address is logged.

WORKAROUND
In order to see the messages that are incoming for the Internal namespaces, there is an Internal Namespace Distribution report (also under Internet folder ) that helps with that need
