Foglight tasks that require UNIX root access on AIX environment
Description

There is a need to disable root access on AIX servers. What are the basic access/tasks in running/installing Foglight on AIX box that requires root access. Need to know the impact if root access is revoked.
Resolution

If installing Fglam on AIX, you need to refer to the FglAm Guide if you wish to setup the init.d and you are not using root as the installing user -
For UnixAgents, refer here - This will tell you that some commands used to collect metrics requires root permissions so you need to configure sudo for the 'foglight' user.
