Explain tables are not valid when optimizing a statement created in Toad for DB2 in SQL Optimi -
Description
After creating a statement in Toad for DB2 and then launching SQL Optimizer to optimize it, the following error message is displayed:
"Invalid plan table(s) definition; it may not match with current DB2 LUW version."
"Please refer to the below database message for details."
"[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0220N The Explain table "DB2ADMIN.ADVISE_INDEX", column "NLEAF" does not have the proper definition or is missing. SQLSTATE=55002" -
Resolution
1. Drop only the ADVISE_INDEX table from the schema.
2. Launch SQL Optimizer to recreate this table only.
3. Continue to optimize statement.
