Foglight console session does not time out -
Description
The Foglight console session is suppose to time out after one hour, but it does not disconnect. It stays connected until the logout is being triggered by clicking on "Sign Out". -
Cause
Working as designed -
Resolution
Foglight contains dashboards with purpose "Monitor" and these dashboards are being refreshed every 5 minutes. This refresh prevent the session to time out. Other dashboards without this purpose are timing out as configured.
When Foglight is being used in a network operation center (NOC) a timeout is not desired and therefore it is being designed, that dashboards with purpose "Monitor" will be refreshed every 5 minutes and will not time out.
