When copying multiple tablespaces is there a way to specify one of the options for all of tablespaces, instead of having to individually select them one at a time and set the same option?
RESOLUTION #1:
If you right click on one of the tablespaces in the list on the copy window, you will get an option to “Apply this object’s settings to all objects”.
RESOLUTION #2:
Create a Dataset Template, where you can set all the options the way you would like them. You can create a Dataset Template through the Object Browser. Select Dataset Template in the dropdown or tab and click to create a new one. When creating the Dataset Template, you can specify the Volume, Retention, prefixes other than USERID, along with many other options. After this template is created, select Tools | Options | Database | DB2 | z/OS | Image Copy and set your new template as default. If you would like have ‘Perform primary local image copy’ as default, then check that option in that same window for your template.
