Getting alarms from rule "DBSS Days Since Last Backup" for deleted database
Description
After a database has been deleted from the SQL Server instance there are still alarms that this database has not been backed up since X days.
Resolution
The database object still exist in Foglight. To remove the object follow the steps below. Please be aware that deleting this object might impact reports of historical data.
Go to the dashboard "Administration | Management Server | Servers | Object Cleanup"
On the left hand side select "SQL Server Database"
On the right hand side find the problematic database and tick the box in the first column
Now click on "Delete"
