Getting alarms from rule "DBSS Days Since Last Backup" for deleted database -
Description
After a database has been deleted from the SQL Server instance there are still alarms that this database has not been backed up since X days. -
Resolution
The database object still exist in Foglight. To remove the object follow the steps below. Please be aware that deleting this object might impact reports of historical data.
- Go to the dashboard "Administration | Management Server | Servers | Object Cleanup"
- On the left hand side select "SQL Server Database"
- On the right hand side find the problematic database and tick the box in the first column
- Now click on "Delete"
