Active Mail processing for unsupported Notes clients: A new configuration option forces the Mail Connector to ignore the Notes client version. Ordinarily, the Mail Connector processes Active Mail only for supported Notes client versions (on the CMN MC server). (See the System Requirements in the CMN Quick-Start Guide or User Guide for a list of supported Notes client versions.) The new configuration is set in the Mail Connector Configuration.xml by adding a comma followed by the string IgnoreNotesClientVersion. For example:

Caution: Content sent from Notes to Exchange may be rendered incorrectly and may not function as expected when the Notes client on the Mail Connector server is an unsupported version. Quest therefore strongly recommends installing a supported version of the Notes client rather than utilizing this setting. If this is not feasible and the setting must be used, closely monitor the processed Active Mail and system behavior to verify the results are acceptable for your organization.
