Schema Compare states "reference schema does not contain selected objects" when the schema does
Description

When a schema compare is run, a message is received that says...

"The Reference schema, <schema_name@db_name>, is empty or does not contain any of the selected object types. Continue?".

The reference schema mentioned in the message owns objects of the type that is selected to be compared. They are listed in the Schema Browser.
Cause

This issue occurs when there are more than 1000 queue tables owned by the reference schema.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Select Queue and Queue Tables as an object type to be compared.

STATUS:

Issue fixed in version 12.1. The latest version of Toad for Oracle can be downloaded at https://support.quest.com/
