Getting "ORA-01017" when trying to connect to 11g database -
Description
When connecting to an 11g database I receive an ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied message. I am able to connectwith SQLplus without any problems.

Cause
Version of Toad being used does not support an Oracle 11g database.

Resolution
Upgrade to a version of Toad for Oracle that supports 11g databases.

Additional Information
The first version to support 11g databases was v9.5. Upgrading to that version or any after that will resolve the problem.
