When I bring up the query viewer there is nothing being displayed in the window. There are several queries being run in the database, but I do not see any of them showing in the window.
The Query Viewer will only display queries that were ran inside the instance of Toad you are logged into. It does not show you any queries that are run outside of that instance of Toad for Oracle. If you were to run a query in your Editor and then look at the Query Viewer, you will see that query displayed that you ran.
If you want to look at all the queries being run in a particular database, you may want to try the Session Browser, which can be found by selecting Database | Monitor | Session Browser. This will allow you to see all the users logged in and you can look at the current statement being run by each user by highlighting a user and selecting the Current Statement tab.
