IIS Log Gathering fails with Error: "The following error occurred loading the time zone configura (4241390)

IIS Log Files fail with error:

The following error occurred loading the time zone configuration data from the IIS server []. IIS logs using the IIS Log File Format will not be processed because the local times in the log file can not be converted to UTC time.

The following error occurred loading the time zone configuration data from the IIS server [Access is denied.]

MessageStats is unable to retrieve the TimeZone information for the Exchange server via WMI.

Note: The DCOM credentials for the MessageStats task processor need to be the same as the credentials for the gathering task, otherwise the WMI call will fail.

Confirm the MessageStats Service account is a member of the Local Administrators group on the Exchange Server.

To Test this using native Microsoft tools follow the process outlined below while logged into the MessageStats server as the MessageStats task execution account:

1. Click Start |Run
2. Type in wbemtest
3. Click Connect
4. In Namespace type \\ServerName>\root\cimv2
5. Click Connect
6. After connection success Click Query
7. In the Enter Query box type select * from Win32_TimeZone
8. Click Apply

If you have all the appropriate permissions this should come back with results e.g. Win32 TimeZone.StandardName="Eastern Standard Time"

"0x80041002 (WBEM_E_NOT_FOUND)" error occurs when you try to open a WMI namespace on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2
