Sybase connections are not showing up in the Data Compare and Sync Wizard -
Description
It does not seem to be possible to compare Sybase database objects in the Data Compare and Sync feature. In the Data Compare Wizard's "Alias" field it shows the connections that are saved in the connection manager, except for the Sybase connections. If I click the Create New Connection button, next to the Alias field, the connection that is created does not show in the dropdown either. This is true for a Sybase connection using ODBC or the native client. Is there a way to compare Sybase objects?

Resolution
Data Compare for Sybase isn't supported for native Sybase connections.

Additional Information
Starting with version 2.5, ODBC connections will be supported. So if you make an ODBC connection to Sybase, you should be able to use the Data Compare feature. You can download the 2.5 beta version of TDA at www.toadsoft.com.
