Results from a select statement on NUMBER columns display with the word 'ERROR', instead of the c
Description

When performing a select from a table that has NUMBER columns, the display for these columns shows the value "Error", instead of the actual contents of the table.
Cause

This is caused when the decimal separator in the Control Panel | Regional Settings, is set to a '.' and the Digit Grouping Symbol setting is also set to a '.'
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Adjust the Regional Settings so that the Digit Grouping Symbol is a ','
