There are a number of instances where the alarms are tripped by a set of circumstances on one of the SQL servers, however, when the condition which caused the issue has passed, the alarm is staying on.
A specific example would include a notification about a Long running SQL job which has completed, but the alarm is showing as still running in error.
WORKAROUND:
Reconfigure the “SQL - Long Running Jobs” alarm not to fire on jobs reported incorrectly.
