The UPDATE permission was denied on the object 'T_VirtualServers (4236394)

Trying to run a gathering results in the following error in the logs:

The following error occurred while processing a data object for a given gathering: Error in Executing SQL Statement - Message: The UPDATE permission was denied on the object 'T_VirtualServers

1. Launch SQL Management Studio
2. Expand Security | Logins
3. Right click on the MessageStats Domain service account and select properties 
4. In the left hand column click on User Mapping
5. For the “Users Mapped to this Login” section put a check mark in the box beside the MessageStats database
6. Under the “Database role Memberships for” section select – Public, MessageStats_Admin, db_securityadmin and db_ddladmin
7. Click OK
