Error: "Cannot read next physical block" (4236165)

When cataloging Tape Backups created using Veritas Backup Exec, insterting a second tape returns an error:

"Cannot read next physical block."

Recovery Manager incorrectly works with tapes containing variable data block sizes.

A hotfix is available for this issue, please contact Quest Technical Support at support@quest.com.


STATUS:

This issue was fixed in Recovery Manager for Exchange 3.1.1. The latest version of Recovery Manager for Exchange can be downloaded at: http://support.quest.com/support_download/Downloads.asp.
