A machine does not install the Desktop Authority (DA) client. When reviewing the DAClientInstaller.log the error “1603” is listed. Then after running the DAClientinstller.msi manually as an administrator the error “1935” is received.

This error is related to an issue with the installation of .Net 2.0. This problem occurs because of a registry handles leak. The leak causes an out of resource exception. Therefore, the installation fails.
RESOLUTION 1:
To resolve this issue, use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
