When trying to start the "Quest.MM4SP.Sourceservice" service the following error is received
"Could not start the Quest.MM4SP.SourceService service on Local Computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure."
None of the jobs created would work as the "Quest.MM4SP.Sourceservice" service is stopped.
The Migration Manager for SharePoint (MM4SP) service account password had been changed and the change in the password is not automatically updated on the MM4SP services.
1. Go to Start | Select Run | enter "services.msc" | select enter.
2. Right click and Go to the properties of the following services "Quest.MM4SP.Sourceservice","Quest.MM4SP.Targetservice", "Quest.MM4SP.ServiceMonitor", "Quest.MM4SP.PostProcessing", "Quest.MM4SP.WebAccess".
3. Select the Logon tab and enter the password of the service account for all the 5 services.
4. Restart all the above 5 services and confirm if all the 5 services are started or not.
5. Open "Scheduled Tasks" and set the new password for the service account for the three scheduled tasks - "SharePoint Browser Agent", "SharePoint Browser Broker" and "Custom Page Migrator" from the properties of each of the scheduled tasks and selecting the "Set Password" option.
